Looks like lots of teams trying to get out of this draft. Not only probably because of the considered weakness of this draft, but to keep additional cap space.

I doubt it is Faried for the 5. Faried for Pek maybe?

I don't think anyway that trade happens. But rumor I heard was faried involved for 5 pick and the guy said "doubt this trade happens but would be shocked if they don't move the pick in some form" or something like that.

Wolves could not absorb his salary. Maybe a trade like that would include sliding back to 5 to the 7 spot? No players outside of Pek really match up for the salary though

Given the transition of the league, it will be a solid pick up. Just move Randle to the 4 and you have a good front court.

Randle was already at the 4. Kobe was playing the 3 last year.

I'll just say it was a weird comparison considering Embiid has literally done nothing in the NBA, and leave it at that.

I don't get this one. Dumping two first rounders for what? It shouldn't be to facilitate a salary dump, since the Hawks are $40M under the cap. Trying to lure someone Horford wants to play with?

Did Grant play much last year? He looked like a decent prospect to me in college.

Can't figure him out. He's just not athletic enough for my taste; he can shoot but not really much else?

Not really. I've heard good things about him though. It'd be a nice bonus if he could improve in Chicago.

The problem is that people are unsure if his actual age is 20. Some people are saying he could be closer to 23-24.

The biggest problem with that is that means his already thin frame is unlikely to be add additional weight. It also dips his future projections. Makes a world of difference.

Washington Post has a interesting mock draft.

They let the writers from the local papers, that cover the individual Teams , project the pick.

That space is not available until July. So a trade before or during the draft requires equal salary leaving.
