I see wash is in already for the real season....he's calling for the bunt .

You have to give him props when it works if you're going to get onto him for calling for it.

About the only bunt I am okay with is the suicide squeeze. Sacrifice bunting just is an out give away in my opinion. Why not have the guy hit a single ... and in that spot you have a run in already ... runner at corners ... and none out. I don't see giving up an out to move the runners 90' to be that good ... certainly isn't strategic.
Why not have the guy hit a single? Really? If only it were that easy.
My thoughts exactly. Bunting in that situation also takes the double play away. Again, that's one of the few places I see the bunt as appropriate. Good time to call it, even if it doesn't work.

I don't like the bunt , because I hate giving up an out. Good article below.

I forgot how nice it is to watch a game without Listening to Steve Busbee .
What had the previous three batters done?
Even a sac fly IMO moves Choo to 3rd ... and there is a chance it drops in. Sac bunts are rally killers.
There are very few situations where bunting it's appropriate. Wash tries to bunt in too many that aren't.

In this case it was an out but also avoided the double play and put two in scoring position which eventually tied the game. What would you have done?I don't like the bunt , because I hate giving up an out. Good article below.
