*clavical... fractured. No time table for return- Projected that he would be placed on IR with ability to return after week 6. (I think) What now?
Earl Bennett is available- was cut by Browns in June.

No Jared Allen in practice for two days- (family night and today) Briggs bruised knee didn't finish practice.

Martellus Bennett throws Kyle Fuller to the ground after Fuller tried to strip Bennett after a catch. Bennett still screaming at people.

Trestman ends practice early. Angry.

Whoa!

Glad that the team is getting after it.

Bears workout WR Santonio Holmes.

Also sign WR Greg Herd.

Talked to my buddy who's working for the Bears in that media job. Didn't have much time to talk, but he said the team is working a RB by the name of Sinorice Perry over Ford, Lynch, and Draugh. Giving him the 3rd most reps after Forte and Carey.

Ford, surprisingly, is getting the least reps. That puzzled me… I liked Ford, and I thought Trestman did too. He was an underdog to even stick around last year. Perhaps to get the newcomer and rookies acclimated to the new offense?

Says Mundy and McGray are taking nearly all of the first team safety reps, Vereen working in a bit as well with McGray. Also, that DJ looks like a lock to start at MLB. No surprise there. Unfortunately, he couldn't get into details about how they were using or defending certain players. I'll talk to him this weekend. Until I can get out there, he's my eyes and ears on the ground every day.

I'm really interested in the RB battle and think preseason will be huge in who get's that. Last year I know Ford got that job based on how he did in preseason.

Same goes for the Safety jobs- As much as they can watch and switch and try people out... I don't think they can really see who "has it" until they are forced to tackle somebody in a game. I'm excited for tomorrow- as uneventful as it will be past halftime and over hyped for the fourth quarter hero's. I still can't wait!

I have to write down a list of the players I want to watch and their Jersey Numbers, so I don't get confused during the run in and run outs during the game.

Damn! He was signed by Cleveland... Rex is off the market. "Unleash the Dragon, Fuck it I'm Going Deep" Rex Grossman. Superbowl bound.

I hope he does well with Cleveland, but keep him away from the bears.

Nobody rocks third QB on the depth chart like Rex

He must be a solid dude and a good teammate. He's had consistent jobs in the NFL since leaving the Bears, and has hardly played a down since 2007... outside of that September of 2011 with Washington.

Good for him. Always was a fan. Even if it was evident that he wasn't this team's future QB by 06 or 07.

Fuck Rex Grossman.

You should head up his fan club i guess.

Not to be rude, buts its the only gear i have.

Maybe Trestman could have made a qb out of him, but why the fuck do you care?
