Thank Gawd!! I do not understand the NHL and their seeding. No. 1 versus No. 2 overall team in round 2. Just doesn't make sense. Western conference has already lost their top two teams, although Anaheim and Edmonton weren't far behind.
NHL playoff system is a joke!

Galdi examines a lengthy piece on the Redskins' president by The Washington Post, including the quest for a new stadium, his relationship with Dan Snyder and much more. (Date Added: 4/25/17)

The funny thing is the Redskins do have a PR guy, Tony Wylie. I am sure he gets his marching orders from Dan. The misinformation has been a standard in the FO since way before Bruce. Why they do it, no idea. I can tell you I know for sure that Dan was shifty way before he was the Redskins owner.

You mean this Tony Wylie? Perfect PR man for a guy like Snyder.

so twitter is blowing up with news of ESPN laying off a LARGE amount of their staff/writers/podcasters

a few are trying to place blame on consumers for cutting the chord from cable

i call bullshit on that. Fans spend enough money as it is ... there obviously must've been a bubble for them to need to lay so many people off at once.

and i have a difficult time feeling empathetic for journalists who earn a living from watching & discussing sports all day.

I feel no sorrow for ESPN at all. First of all I did like them pushing their views on life on me and everyone else. I watch sports to get away from that crap.

They were money hungry like most are. For all they had they still did and still do insist on charging for things like Insider info.

Shame on them for not seeing the handwriting on the wall. Times change. I bet most of us here have to keep dancing, bobbing and weaving to stay employed over our careers as technology has changed.

Sounds like the owner of the largest buggy whip company complaining about Henry Ford and his automobile.

:2cents: - Disney has been raping people for years, no need to feel sorry for them.

So out of touch and completely tone deaf to new info and developments :L

Well, a few years ago, he wouldn't say that concussions are bad for your brain, so good ol' Rog just might have a credibility issue there.

Well, we didn't get Joe Mixon or Dalvin Cook, but the Wiz finished off Atlanta and are moving on in the playoffs!:trash:

Am I the only one that thinks Ryan Zimmerman is on steroids? Dude couldn't hit a grapefruit last year and now he's mashing! Hit another homer today.

LOL, that is a lot of bombs for him. He hit the ball hard last year but often at someone. Doesn't matter who you hit it to if it leaves the park. You might wonder.
