Just guessing here as I have heard no official word. But from the way he went down Im thinking hyper extended knee, or groin. Hockey players rarely come up with ankle injuries, and we all know a concussion would not negatively affect a hockey players ability to play.

I hate that I hope he's out. I would love to be a tough guy and say we want to beat them at their best. I don't care how they get it done, I just want this team to beat the fkn Pens. If.it's a concussion, it.could be a while. He has a history with those.

Confirmed, concussion. With his history, expect him to miss at minimum the next two games, if not longer.

Wow! That's a big deal. With the history of this franchise, not sure it matters. Gonna find out real quickly whether this team is different. Have to take advantage. They are already down Letang and Murray. If the Caps don't come home 2-2 I don't know what to say.

Where is Ovi? Last year Pittsburgh was just the better team. This year we are dominating them and just can't get the puck in the net. I wasn't even upset last night. I suprised myself and it's not my fault. They made me this way.

That's why it kills me when broadcasters say Caps fans can't come to the arena on pins and needles. They need to be loud. They made us this way. They made me this way. Now I just hope for the best and expect the worst.

I'll be right in front of my set on game 5. I'll be right there next year this time. I just don't let it destroy me anymore. I mean we're only five months away from the Nats imploding in the first round and seven months away from Kirk throwing a season ending interception.

Funny how the question is always "where is Ovi?" True he only has one game and for whatever reason he is passing up his own shot to make passes.

The question should be where the fuck is Holtby? He is supposedly our man now. He has the worst goaltending stats of any goalie left in the playoffs. I know he has had to face a couple of breakaways and odd man advantages but holy crap you are allowed to make the save. He is ranked 15th in save percentage.

Secondly I was never a fan of the Trotz hiring. I never understood why the "so-called" NHL experts were so supportive of this move. Maybe because he wasn't a 1st time head coach like most since Ovechkin has been here. He (like the Caps) has never been past the 2nd round. So what do we have, a lifelong mediocre NHL coach who is as good at the regular season as Bruce Boudreau. They have wasted Ovechkins career.

Like you I will be watching just as I have since their very first year. I hope they fire Trotz and as far as I am concerned they can blow it all up and start over again.

And there it is. Where is Holtby? You can start to see the subtle decline in Ovi. Still one of the best in the sport but not what he was three/four years ago. I thought to myself last night the it might be time to blow it up.

I know that's just an emotional reaction to a tough loss, but the window is closing. T.J. is a much better player than Ovi right now. Tough decisions this summer. That being said, I'm gonna be cheering like crazy from my couch Saturday.

Wizards trying to win one in Boston & get the series turned in their direction (they are definitely the better of the two teams - just a matter of them executing on the road). The Capitals are trying to get past the 2nd rd for the first time in ages. As a longtime big Caps fan I predict nothing & just hope that they can get over the hump.

Should be a very exciting but nerve racking time. Go Wiz! Go Caps!

Because for the last few seasons, it has either been the Rangers or Penguins eliminating the Caps. So saying we get past the Penguins, I really dont want to see the Rangers in round 3.
