That jingle was written and performed by Nils Lofgrin, a local Bethesda guy who has been playing with the E Street Band for decades after being discovered by Neil Young while performing at the Psyche Deli. I am friends with his brother and he was hired to do that after he did "Bullets Fever" which he wrote during their title run and earned him season tickets I believe.

When Washington the Senators to Texas I became a Reds fan because they had a young catcher that I really liked. Of course Rose is one of many great players from those 70s teams. No one ever played harder and few were better. RIP Pete, thanks for all the good memories.
