Too many people mysteriously compare them to the NBA, and that's the basis upon seeing them as inferior. How about looking at them as females instead? In this proper perspective, they play an awesome brand of basketball. It's below the rim, far more fundamentally sound than the NBA, easily more competitive through 4 quarters and a bigger bang for your entertainment time/money than the NBA.

I look at it like this do I want to put my entertainment dollar into it or watch it ? The WNBA just isnt my cup of tea

Of course you compare it to the NBA. It is the same sport. If they play each other, the men win by probably 200 points and the girls probably don’t score. They are by definition inferior at the game of basketball.

I think you need to look at fundamentals a little closer. Part of fundamentals is catching the ball and they struggle to do that. Yes…the games can be competitive but so can a HS game. HS games get more bang for the buck than the WNBA.
