other than the skins,I remember the bullets winning the championship against the sonics in 78 the year we got cable channels from dc here.unseld was MVP.

Adding Bobby Dandridge was the winning move. I think he held out the next year, said he was injured. My friend was assistant trainer, the trainer was at the local hangout one night and I asked about Bobby .... he said there isn't anything wrong with him.

My best friend and I were hit head on by a drunk driver in the summer of 79 ..... the Bullets signed a basketball for us and asked Jay to give it to us and say they were pulling for us. Hard to believe that was 45 years ago.

my sister moved to Richmond early 70s. and became lifelong friends with George borden who was head trainer for the saints then.he told us stories of Archie Manning and what a decent guy he was.

Blame Mike Shanahan for that one. Bruce was Shanahan’s hand-picked contracts guy and his ‘he had to come here’ hire.

As it would turn out, Bruce Allen stabbed the guy who brought him here in the back, and would continue that line of action for the next decade-plus that he had power in Ashburn.
