2 of my all-time favorite albums
From what I have read from you I think you will like them and I think you will love Paul's Boutique in particular.
70's......The Allman Brothers Band.
I’ll check them out. Thanks!
You also had the advent of CDs, which meant an album went from 8-10 tracks to 15 or more in many cases. More filler. The 80's also brought into play a lot of technology that didn't sit well with rock fans of previous decades. Synths and drum machines, terrible mixes with gated snares and terrible reverb, etc.
I think id still listen to the Beastie Boys hits before hitting up Paul's Boutique just so you have some reference. Thats definitely the album that Omar would probably like the most but its also probably the least accessible.
I still find it doubtful that someone can go through life avoiding 'Fight For your Right to Party' and 'Intergalactic'. Odds are you've heard one of those two.
Nah dude, you are way off. Old fucks that hated Zeppelin and Elvis were evangelical Christians that thought it was of the Devil en sech.
I listen to Cannibal fucking Corpse en shit, I don't think they are satanic, but I do think Bieber and Beyonce are probably what will be playing in Hell on loop.
If you have any self-respect, then yes.
80's were dope. Fuck you fuckers.
I just listened to both. Definitely never heard either of them.
Hah! That's awesome. Good thing they got past it, because they shut down all the roads
Just gotta take em for what they were: a joke that just kept going
I love their early punk stuff, but dig their studio stuff as well. Soft spot for em' fosho.
Will grow hair on yer bawls..
At a Crawl...apt title for a song that took forever to get anywhere
Supposed to be getting ready to drive fer 10 fucking hours, but instead I'm defending the 80's and rockin' out.
lulz. The Melvins are like getting hit in the face with a wet mattress.
It's sludge metal bruh
