1950's - Thelonius Monk
1960's - Herbie Hancock
1970's - Weather Report
1980's - Pat Metheny
1990's - Melvin Rhyne (with his return to music)
2000's - Fuck the 2000's; they fucking suck
2010's - Fuck the 2010's; they suck more than the 2000's, which is really really hard to do.

Rocking choices.

Thank you sir.

Always nice to see others who can appreciate great talents who may not necessarily be number one on mainstream radar.

There are literally just too many personal favorites for me to pinpoint, especially from the 60's,70's, 80's..and even a bit into the 90's. I'm 1,000 % serious...even if I narrowed them down to 10 per decade.
I can honestly also say that I don't have a favorite from the 00's, or this decade as of yet.

Yeah, it is really a tough choice. Next week, my answer would probably vary somewhat.

60's - Beatles
70's - Probably The Cars or Zeppelin
80s' - Metallica
90s - AIC
2000s - The White Stripes

I'm subject to all the new music right now and there is good and really bad. I find myself bored with a lot of today's music but I think it's more of me just getting older, liking this though...
