Been to LA and NY and have no desire to return.

Had to meet with a client on Rodeo Drive and then visit another across the desert.

Went to NY on the Saturday after 9/11. The air was still full of falling debris and we walked up to the Towers and they were still taking out bodies. People ere already on the streets selling shit charms and prayer cards.

A lot of history has happened in cities, though plenty has happened outside cities too. Most major museums are in cities, but most nature is outside of cities (i.e. mountain climbing, hiking, biking trails, beaches...). Performance arts are mostly centered in cities too, but plenty of concerts happen in remote venues too.

I can see benefits of cities and outside cities...

There really isn't a place I would want to exclude 100% beyond very specific locations like trekking through a sewer pipe or being forced to hide under a latrine.

Toss-up between San Francisco and New Orleans. Both are disgusting. If I have to pick one it's San Francisco because I have been there many times and there is nothing for me to see.

I have been to virtually all of our big cities. A few I could actually live in. I could live in Seattle, Boston, LA, Atlanta, Raleigh, Austin, Minneapolis, etc.

Please dont send me to SF, New Orleans, Portland, OR, New York City, Baltimore, DC, Miami, Des Moines, Fargo!

I've always kept an open mind to food and while I often won't choose new stuff on my own, I follow a "when in Rome" approach.

I was introduced to Sushi this way and like it, a lot. I don't reach for everything on the menu, mostly stuff I ate when "I visited Rome". I love Middle Eastern food based on this type of introduction too. I've never been well introduced to Indian food, but LOVE Tai food.
