We're actually keeping Eskridge... ???? good fucking lord.
Hopefully it'll be a 5 to 7mil savingsNot yet.
Not a fact yet but sounds like close to 14 million saved against the cap.Don't treat these as gospel but...
Any idea what the market is for LB?
That's way beyond my expected savings.Don't treat these as gospel but...
They said the max value totals 34 million so doesn't sound like he will be expensive in 2025.Lockett just got restructured and saves Seattle a TON of cap this year. I think Tyler just did this team a solid... he will be MASSIVELY expensive in 2025 (season) but I think at this point there's a 'handshake agreement' that Seattle would let him go, with a minimal dead cap hit.

I didn't get into the details beyond 2024, but it sounds like the 2025 cap hit would be crazy, but we can cut Lockett no problem (and then if we want resign him for something cheaper unless another team offers more).
A lot of those safeties were big contracts and now on the wrong side of 30.So many safeties available via FA... Like RB's, they're value is declining... Safeties that were released so far - Simmons, Kevin Byard, Eddie Jackson and Jordan Poyer, Jamal Adams, Eddie Jackson, Quandre Diggs and Rayshawn Jenkins also were cut this week and Marcus Maye is designated for a post-June 1 release from the Saints.
Lots of talent out there... Outside the huge salaries, I can see why the Hawks considered releasing BOTH Adams/Diggs... HC may see someone out there that fits his defense a bit more better...
