The clash!

I collected some very good antiques as a young man.
We were poor and I sold them.

Then there's the 1970 Superbowl Champion Colts NFL football autographed by the entire team. Gift from Bubba Smith
How about the Carl Yastremski home run ball - autographed?

God damn..... you just might be alright after all. I love the old lunch boxes from the 70's. I've considered a few times on collecting them even now. The smell of a new lunch box and thermos.... brings back the memories. I remember having some with the Super Friends....Scooby-Doo... NFL with the helmets on it.

The Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris rookie cards that I set fire to on my back porch. I must have spent $20 in 1956 trying to get a Ted Williams card. I walked at least 500 miles collecting scrap metal and empty milk bottles to buy pck after pck of cards. Couldn't get a Red So player to save my ass. Yankees, Tigers, Orioles by the h7undreds, nary a Boston card. The guy next door said, "Who the hell will know who the hell Mickey Mantle is twenty years from now?"

I still have a Ray Culp card.

Never threw away the 1930's **** booklets my grandfather left me when he died in 1952. Still in the original envelope and I just packed them away from their first ride outside New England. Hand drawn cartoons in 8 page booklets. Some of the nastiest drawings ever. Worth their weight in gold dust.
