interesting poll...

i'll go with the Patsies(provided we HAVE a football season, of course)...

You would think , a guy who has been a winning NFL Head coach over 25 years vs a 1 year NFL coach who had a losing record in college.

Not only did Kingbury have a losing record in college while at Texas Tech he had Baker Mayfield then Patrick Mahomes & still couldn't win double digits in any season. Actually when he had Mahomes 2 of the 3 years he had a below .500 record.

True, but he had a top offense every year. He is an offensive guru. He couldn't recruit defensive players. That was his problem in college. Fortunately, in the pros, you don't need to recruit.

Nice info. Wasn't aware of that.

I don't think I have the reckless abandon to pick the Cards given they are possibly a good team in a very stacked looking NFC West; maybe the worst in name title only.

I joke, but what if the entire NFC West made the playoffs this next season?

Definitely not a fan of shitting on a college coach for not recruiting well on defense in the Big 12, at Texas Tech. Kingsbury is disappointingly conservative up to this point on 4th down and the RZ in the NFL, imo.

It's similarly fallacious to the reasons to trash Mahomes for never beating OU.

Very true, but it was his first year. I think he will open it up more this year.
