And now McGowan is a Cleveland Steamer! That has Superbowl written all over it!
Do you guy realize that a 36 yr old QB with a CAREER 17-32 record as a starter just signed for 3 years $15M... That's insane! That just goes to show how utterly bare the market is. Why this guy keeps getting jobs is crazy. And some of you want to join that group of teams looking for this? SMH.

Honestly think about this: Internet search for Josh McCown's net worth lists him as having 18.8 Million dollars. That was before the Browns contract. Which will guarantee him at least one more year of $5M... $23.8M for 17 wins equates to $1.4M per win... wow.

It would take me over 626 YEARS to make that much money.

Why does anyone bring up mcCown anymore?

He`s done here as a Bear. His time has passed and no longer will be a threat to our incompetent qb or any other in the NFL.....

I just wonder what the hell the Browns office is thinking?

And I thought the last two years of our office was bad, they take the cake!

Obviously they wanted a guy to mentor Manziel (McCown is widely known to have a future in the league in coaching) and as an insurance policy that can at least play snaps. A contract for what is effectively one year of $5 million (that's the guaranteed part) doesn't strike me as that odd. I don't think anyone on the Browns expects them to win the Super Bowl this year, so why would they spend big $$?

I wish our QB only cost us $5 million per and at least could potentially coach our spoiled brat immature high draft pick maybe into something better. And it's the Browns who are crazy?

Wow, that's crazy! And speaking of Super Bowls, it would take you 4,803 years to make as much money as Cutler will have made by the end of his contract. Wow!

I guess the Browns do not want to have any 3 game winning streaks

hmmmmm,I wonder why he was a teacher when we picked him up.

I`m sure there are better options out there than McCown for a qb coach.......

The browns front office has been horrid year after year after year.
You can not compare ours with theirs..........no way.

It seems they can never get anything right.
