Cubs lead 2-0 off Baez' 2 run shot in the 1st.
Mets had a couple of chances to get on the board in the 1st & 2nd, but squandered them.

2-0 Cubs...Mid 4th.

Ughh....Kendricks gives up b2b walks to begin the Mets 4th, but it yields nada.

His pitch count is closing in on 80.....so hopefully he'll be done by the 6th.

Even after his 1st inning hiccup, Stro is still pitching really well thru 5. (66 pitches)

We might lose this one because the offence looks quiet but Stroman has been great since those first couple of loose pitches. At the very least he's saved the bullpen tonight.
