Listen to that crowd on the McKinney home run, sounds like the Mets travelled in numbers (or there's a lot of NY transplants in AZ)

I think it’s a little of both.
That’s also the case for a few other cities, but mostly on the east coast and some out here on the west coast. Here in SF there’s a fair amount of NY transplants. I’m one of them. Same is true for LA/ SoCal.
It’s funny, when the team is playing well, the tendency to see their gear everywhere also increases.

Mets scored 2 (Dom Smith 2 run HR) in the 4th..and 2 more (Smith sac fly rbi & Lindor rbi triple) in the 6th, but Zona put up 3 of their own in the bottom of the 6th off Stro. Familia got into a jam in the 7th...but got out of it.
It's 4-3 Mets heading to the bottom of the 8th.
Aaron Loup is now pitching.

Edit:
Loup sets them down in order.

Heading to the 9th...Mets lead it 4-3.

Damn it.
Dbacks tied it up with 2 outs off Diaz in the bottom of the 9th.
McKinney's E-9 with 1 out was costly...(he played a single into a 2 bagger)
Diaz got the 2nd out on a ground out to 1st but the runner on 2B took 3rd...then scored after a clean base hit.

4-4.
Onto the 10th.

Peraza will be the runner on 2nd for NY....

Yes!
James McCann with a nice PH rbi double plates Peraza.
Mets retake the lead 5-4...but they couldn't score more.

Trevor May now pitching in the bottom of the 10th for NY.

Sheeesh....after getting the 1st out..and then walking the next hitter when he had him down 0-2...May gives up a 2 run double....and the Mets lose it 6-5 in 10.

:L

At least Atlanta lost....but FFS...that totally sucked.

Dbacks 6 - Mets 5 in 10.
The alleged "walkoff hit" was a foul ball. Umps at the stadium & the replay booth botched the call.
That said...the Mets put themselves in that situation, and they got screwed as a result.
Nothing to do but turn the page and focus on Wednesday's early rubber game before leaving town for SD.

Mets @ D-Backs

WTF is up w/ Peterson now?
Dude couldn't get out of the 1st inning.....yikes.

Mets scored 4 in the 1st off Bumgarner....and even loaded the bases after that, but squandered the opportunity to add on.
But Peterson gave up 5 in the bottom half and only got 1 out....:L
Gsellman came in to stop the bleeding....and he's still pitching in the 4th.

Mets tied it up in the 2nd on McCann's rbi single....he also hit a 3run HR in the 1st (has 4 rbi in the game)

edit:
Still tied at 5-5 now heading to the 5th.

Mets retake the lead in the 5th on a Pillar single, and a Smith rbi single.
Gsellman was replaced for a PH w/ 2 outs and a runner on.

6-5 Mets. Nice work by G-man out of the pen.

Seth Lugo is back...and now on the mound to begin the bottom 5th.

edit:
Lugo throws a quick 1-2-3 inning on just 10 pitches (with 1 K)

LGM!

YES!!!

Lindor leads off with a double.....after 1 out he took 3rd on a passed ball.
Pete slapped an rbi single through the hole to bring him home.

7-6 Mets...heading to the bottom of the 9th.

Diaz time.
