True....but really wouldn't mind a run here in the 9th for the proverbial "insurance".At least they're hitting again

Tonight is our annual trek to Coney Island to see the Cyclones. We've had some good times there; saw Jose Reyes on a rehab assignment, and Alfonzo threw my son a foul ball once
Missed last year due to the pandemic. In fact, it might be 3 or 4 years since we went, so I probably should re-think the use of the word "annual"Nice, last year's game had to be great, most of our studs have graduated. At some point I'll make my way out there (never been to Coney Island).
Dang...I haven't been to C.I. in decades. Early 80's during a trip back to NY (Westchester county) to visit family.Missed last year due to the pandemic. In fact, it might be 3 or 4 years since we went, so I probably should re-think the use of the word "annual"
It's a fun little ball park, right on the ocean. And like most minor league teams, they have some crazy in-between-innings giveaways that are often hilarious.
Only thing I don't like is the artificial surface. It's awful, and there are some really bad hops as a result. I guess they would have a hard time growing actual grass that close to the seawater
You wouldn't recognize it. Still got a few dumpy parts but a lot nicer than the 80's or early 90'sDang...I haven't been to C.I. in decades. Early 80's during a trip back to NY (Westchester county) to visit family.
Good times.
