Hill was solid against the nuggets. A good double double against some phenomenal big men.
Phenomenal?
Hill has very good games every Season, followed by 15 below average ones.

Well that's an interesting choice of words. Someone is feeling hyperbolic today.

Phenomenal? Weren't you just saying the Nuggets were garbage in that other thread? Make up your damn mind SD!
So Faried isn't a good player? I'm talking about the big men.
The rest of the team sucked and we proved that.
But according to you "the nuggets are way better than the Lakers"
Way better?
Pull up the post where I said that...
I gave Center a push and SG to Kobe.
If your feelings are so hurt by disagreement that you feel the need to exagerate, maybe I should just stop responding to your posts.
Faried and Mozgov have always been problematic for the Lakers.
That doesn't make them "phenomenal". Faried is a good player, but not an all star. Mozgov is a borderline starting center. If you polled people, they would say the Nugs have an average NBA frontcourt. Getting a double double against them in a preseason game isn't anything to brag about. Hell, arguably their best front court player, Gallinari, didn't even play.

To be fair, they've been pretty "phenomenal" against the Lakers. Especially Faried.
So Hill was crap? I don't see what your point is in this argument.
Yes it's only preseason and yes it's too early to tell but getting a double double against a front court that has been troubling our team for the last three years or so, in under 20 minutes might I add, is a good step forward.
When I said "phenomenal" I was referring to a front court that has been able to kill us in the paint under the last two coaches. So it's quite refreshing to see a Hill put up a solid game against them that night.
Who said I was referring to you?

That is exactly what I've been trying to say.
Hill is interesting. He has the ability to be a very solid big. However, as Mecca points out, he has been very inconsistent.
I think that part of the reason for his inconsistency, was that he never got comfortable in D'Antoni's system. If he can even out his game, I could see him as a Joakim Noah type player. I don't think he will be as good as Noah, but he can bring that kind of energy and hustle.
Yes, he has the talent to be on Noah's level.
I think he's better offensively NOW.
You could be right about him not being comfortable.
He didn't really get a chance to play at his other 2 destinations.
So, he could go the way of Jermaine Oneal...
Buried on Portlands bench and looking like a bust until he went HAM in Indiana...
Or..
He could be Drew Gooden.
Dude, everyone looked good against the Lakers last Season.
My only point is: Faried is a good PF. But, is he even in the top 10?
Hill is fools gold...imo.
One good game followed by a 5 game disappearing act.
He is not worth half of his contract and is only a place marker for a future trade because of that non-guaranteed last year.
Seriously, he has Drew Gooden written all over him.
Plenty of talent. But, lacks desire and puts up hallow numbers.
Randle and Davis are the bigs of the future.
