Yep. Butler got into it with a couple of players. Although one was justified off of a bullshit screen set by Serephin (bullshit because no need for that in preseason). My favorite though was Pierce and Noah mouthing off to each other, Noah touching Pierce's head, and then the benches separate the two because Pierce is getting ready to murder Noah.

night and day difference with this years' team vs. last two years, in particular, the defensive side. I know it's one game, exhibition, the Nugs, etc. BUT when these guys develop chemistry, a consistent substitution pattern, the rooks getting more comfortable(of course barring injuries to Kobe/Nash), getting Swaggy back, this team will be competitive. We couldn't really say that under D'Antoni other than trying to outscore the opponents but getting beat repeatedly on the D side.


Seeing that Coach B preaches defense and is getting team in top-notch condition to withstand rigors of the long season, gotta like our chances as I've said from the jump. One thing is for sure, the two rookies not shying away from the spotlight. Once all is said and done, we'll have stolen Clarkson and Randle will make the other 6 teams that didn't pick him, regret it. We'll see how much Boozer will last as the starter but between Davis and Hill, we're not going to give up easy buckets as we've seen in past, even with a couple of stogies like Nash and Bryant upfront.

If Hill didn't have such a ridiculous salary, I'd consider putting Davis in as a starter.

Boozer and Kobe can score.

But, with Nash and Boozer on the court at the same time, they really need rim protection more than what Hill can give them scoring wise.
