The Frisco game is also televised. Asher has been pretty good this year. I don't hear much about him though. Let us know what you think of his stuff.


Luke Jackson gets the start for RR at 5:00 today. He needs to turn it around.

I'm not going to pretend to know Rios' trade value, not to mention this is a different market than when we traded for him, but do the O's really even have a need for an OF?

If they do, they have several other good pitching prospects as well. I think one is Bundy but he might be coming back from TJ this year if i remember correctly. I just sort of think they need their starting pitching as thats been a weak spot for them.

If I were them I would move Nelly to DH and put Rios in the OF with Jones and Markakis. That would be a damn good defensive OF. Nelly and Markakis are FA's after this year. That's why I think they might be interested.

That would be funny if Nelly ended up at dh in favor of a ranger player to play OF.

Jones is not a good CFer defensively, that gold glove was a sham, Markakis is solid but Jones is crap, but he's got More range than any of the other options

It's about time Tepesch starts to show some consistency, otherwise I don't see him as any more than as a spot starter in the future. I actually hope we he's not in the rotation next year.

Just seems like that Pearce guy has actually been pretty good for them in left. Well on offense anyway. Batting .300 with 11 Hr and 30+ RBI in a little over 60 games. Didn't look at his denfense and he does strike out a lot. He also may just be a platoon guy... not sure.
