That game is higher scoring than I would have imagined.

Every person on the Spurs shot under 50%. Under 40% too. The best was 36.4%.

Good find, but I have to put an asterisk.

Not because the Magic didn't meet the criteria.

But this was part of a stretch where the Magic won a game in October, then lost 19 in a row. They were winless in November.

Coach Doc Rivers was seen on his knees, begging for the Magic to play better, a game or two before he got fired.

What I'm trying to say is that the Magic played so bad (maybe the players quit, I don't know), that it's not a "normal" bad game where I believe both teams were trying their best.

I don't know if the Magic lost all of those games because they were bad, or because they didn't care. Or if there were locker room problems. One of the latter is possible, though. Or, maybe they were just a bad team with too many holes that weren't fixed during the 2003 offseason.

I think the last thing is to find a game where everyone shot better than 50%. I don't think that's been achieved yet.

Ideally one from every decade, from the 70s onward, would be nice. But whatever you can find.
