It is up in the air between him and Montana. I think you could make a fair case either way. I actually don't hate Brady that much (I guess bc he didn't do that much in college), it's Bellichoke I hate.

Very surprised but like the pick. Like I said earlier teams around the league think Forrest Lamp could become the next great OG in the NFL. And heck if needed could still play LT. You plug him in and you have a quality starter though barring injuries for 10+ years.

Very surprised but like the pick. Like I said earlier teams around the league think Forrest Lamp could become the next great OG in the NFL. And heck if needed could still play LT. You plug him in and you have a quality starter though barring injuries for 10+ years.

It came down to picking a rd2 QB in rd1 or a rd1 lineman in rd1. Chiefs oline is in decent shape but Lamp could immediately come in and play G. Maybe LT at some point if Fisher falls apart which isnt unheard of.

Nice pick but I did think that you were going QB. Either way Lamp would have probably been taken I was very close to selecting him myself. You can't win without oline.

I do like it. Lamp was a guy I was actually thinking at 20 to be the Broncos LT. I am one that thinks his ability translates well at all 5 positions on the OL. And really in the AFC West especially with all the great pass rush talent both inside and outside on the DL you have to have a good OL to do some damage. Plus what better way to actually try and compete with a team like the Patriots than to be able to control the LOS and keep their offense on the sideline with a great rushing attack.

And this is why I took Robinson at 20 instead of Reddick. Nice little run on the OL talent of this draft. Never would have been there for my 2nd pick and past the top-4 guys you are at best looking at projects.

Well especially in a draft like this where the talent past the first few is just not there at all. Usually you have those guys that have shown some promise but even there haven't seen it.

and there goes another OT...haha! They are always in demand that's why I was ecstatic that Tunsil fell to the Fins last year.
