You know who also did that to Bama? Some Johnny Football guy. But QB WINZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Two different QB mentalities. Obviously you've seen what Johnny's attitude has done to his career. Johnny is/was a spoiled frat boy and Watson comes from the gutter. Watson has also championships at every level. Johnny had the tools to be a pretty good QB, but the kid obviously has had problems.

Like I said, Watson to me is pretty much what Dak Prescott is.

I take it you don't actually watch any PAC 12 and base everything on second hand opinion?

I watch it, but it's tough to watch when they just run up the score on each other. You think they play alot of D in the Pac 12? How long has it been since a Pac 12 team got a natty?

That has nothing to do with Mcaffrey's skillset.

Defenses a RB faced has nothing to do with his success? When I look at McCaffrey's stats and then I look what he did against Washington (the only Pac 12 defense worth mentioning) it tells me alot. Anyone can run up the score on shitty defense and pad their stats.

Looking at what players did against teams loaded with NFL talent and the best defenses in college football is really the evaluation of a college player IMO.

If he is what Dak is, he should have gone #1 overall to Cleveland

IMO he is. But look what happened to Dak. He fell hard and guys like Jared Goff got the hype in the off-season.

It's also why we are in this discussion - because I was laughing at the Cleveland pick in Trubinsky - a 1 year starter in college.

Oregon is not the PAC 12. The top 4 teams the last few years in the PAC 12 are all known for their defense.

So bc he was only a one-year starter in college he won't have NFL success? That is a horrible way of evaluating talent. And it doesn't mean he will be a good QB from the start it could take time, who knows. Cassell never played when he was at USC and he turned out to be pretty solid when he got his opportunity.

I just wouldn't focus too hard on college success or competition they played in college. It usually doesn't determine if a player will be great at the next level. The NFL is a different monster

Man you jump to conclusions like a woman. I'll spell it out for you.. What's riskier? Grabbing a 1 year starter that was behind a lousy QB for a few years and didn't play on the biggest stage.. Or a 2.5 year starter since halfway through his freshman year that led his team to 2 conference titles and 2 national championships?

Can you tell me the last 1 year starter that's tearing it up right now in the NFL? :pound:

No one of truly know who's going to be good in the NFL. Risk vs reward my man

And before you go Timmah Tebow just remember he had 3 passing TD's in their 2 nationalship championship games. Watson had 8 and he faced alot of Pros on that BAMA defense.

We should just give Juice a random FSU player. He'll like that.

So does that mean Chad Kelly is going to be a great NFL QB? I mean he lit up that Alabama defense for 2 straight years?

And you read my mind as I was about to post that about Tim Tebow.

I guess if you want a QB that only started 1 season that has done pretty darn well in the NFL then Cam Newton is your guy. He was Tim Tebow's back up then transferred and well lit it up for Auburn and became the #1 overall pick and of course MVP.
