I don't get your stance on this at all.

Competition breeds success.

I'm not a Shanny fan at all, but I don't think his fingerprints were the only ones on that draft.

Imo the FO was the engine behind the RG3 deal...I know he was supposed to be the end all, be all personnel guy, but what HC/GM that's on the hotseat throws all his chips behind a rookie QB? That doesn't happen...ever.

WAS was all in on Peyton Manning and when he decided he didn't want to play in the same DIV as he brother...plan B was the draft....Cousins was never brought in to be competition...but there were whispers from the talking heads that in spite of his immense potential, RG3 was not really NFL ready coming from a spread OFC...Cousins was plan C.

Couldn't find a value at the position I needed(OT) so went with a Center who can play Guard... Could be wrong here, but I feel like with some trial and error, you can find a guard that can play tackle, and be successful, if needed...

I went to bed at 8:39 PM last night, Got up at 5:00 AM this morning. Went to the VA hospital and had my twice weekly Phototherapy session, left there and went to the dentist to have my front tooth rebuilt after breaking it nearly in half. Came home, had a cup of coffee, washed the dishes, made the bed and sat down to see where the draft had progressed ................ Seriously, we have a few GMs who don't check in until they get a text or email and that doesn't really motivate them. This is agonizingly slow.

I'm going to do some laundry, vac the house and grab lunch. I'll check back in around 1 PM EST.

No, I hadn't. I gave my big board to Nos last night but I'm on now and got the player I wanted.

I agree...but at the same time I understand people have lives too...I thought I would get my pick in last night. I hung around online til about 9, then checked back about 11:30 and finally bagged it for the night...woke up this morning and the pick ahead was made about 12...I knocked out my pick about 5 this morning and now sit back for a couple of days almost.

Glad you got your guy. I have 3 picks coming up very quickly and all my players keep surviving. Just a few more picks. Very excited about my list if they make it.

We are going to run into times when people are just away and cant pick for a while, we are probably going to finish the 4th round today, I am quite happy with that. I guess I don't understand what the hurry is, we are right about where I figured we'd be.

I have only 2 more picks in this draft...

I have 3-4 positions I want to draft... but my top 2 players on my board are RB, and QB... I wonder if I will be getting those players...

Compared to the NBA Draft, we are at warp 9

This definitely wasn't going to be a draft that was finished quickly. I think if I remember right our first year it took something like 2 1/2 or 3 weeks to finish and by now we had something like 5 GM's already quit. We are a week in and over half way done. I would say that is pretty good progress so far. Throw in everybody is still in from what I can tell. It seems those who are struggling with the pace are a lot of the new people to this draft. This is just the way it has to be when you have 32 people across the country with most of us having full-time jobs and families.

At the point in the draft I was in, all of the slot corners weren't any better than the guys on the Chiefs bench so I went for a project that might play on the outside at some point. Its actually much harder to draft for the Chiefs than a team like the Jaguars or Rams as Ive done in the past. Chiefs are good everywhere and great nowhere.
