I don’t get it. Everyone keeps talking about how Toronto is trying to go all in with the Ohtani talks plus the Soto trade proposals. But those same people are talking about how Toronto is in on them is also saying they are shopping Bichette.

I’d still be upset with the Kelenic deal, but I’m curious as to why Jerry couldn’t do a three team deal with Pittsburgh then. Like Atlanta still gets Kelenic, the Pirates get Marco and Evan White and cash and the Mariners get their same package but the PTBNL.

How it stands is basically the Mariners traded cash and Marco to the Pirates. The Braves traded a soon to be DFA’d guy plus a dude who has had TJ surgery for Kelenic and White and a PTBNL. I just don’t get it, the Braves basically got 3 players for free.
