They have come out and said that the city of NO will not be held responsible for the power outage and that will not reflect on them on later bids for the SB. I think that is good. It was not their fault.

It was Beyonce's bare ass, ass shaking dances with all those damn lights and plugs that caused the outage!! haha Blame Beyonce, it afterall was all her fault.

Middle east men watching the SB watched that halftime show, saw more skin on her than all the women in their country combined, probably thought they were watching soft core ****ography!

The blackout was the best part of the game. The jokes going around on Twitter were hysterical. Then Joe Theisman had the accidental line of the night when he tweeted: Beyonce shit down the lights!

Power outage at a stadium...not stadiums fault and won't hurt future bids

freak ice storm that hasn't been seen in decades in Dallas...Dallas' fault and will hurt future bids.

Fuck Goodell

Yeah, I had not heard that. Definitely not fair.

I am really glad I do not have your avatar, mine is distracting enough, but to have an avatar with the most perfect ass I have ever seen is just down right attention grabbing.

After Goodell pissed all over New Orleans during the bounty gate fiasco, he couldn't rub it in now.... Besides, they ought to play the super bowl in New Orleans at least every three years. The city lends itself to tourism and though I've never been there for a super bowl, I imagine it's probably one of the best locations for the event. They probably need a new stadium though -- The Superdome is looking outdated.

There will be a lot of SB's played in LA once they build that new gorgeous stadium and get a team.

They will play this one SB in the cold weather, people will bitch that it was too cold and unpleasant for all the fans to sit there in the freezing cold and watch, especially if a warm weather team or two make it to the game, there will be more injuries, the game will be a mess and it will never be played in a cold weather city again for the sake of revenue making.

I have no issue with it being in a cold weather city if they have a dome to protect everyone from the elements.

During the biggest game of the year, you want everyone to have the best advantage to win without elements. You don't want to see a game changing fumble because a guy slipped on the snow without even being hit. Dropped balls all over the place also will lead to a lower scoring game and people will become bored.

Just my :2cents:

I'd rather see it in a warm-weather city, but I disagree with your assessment.

Did you see more injuries in playoff games played in Denver, New England or Baltimore? What about dropped passes or slipping players? The most slipping I saw was on a relatively warm day in Washington (turf issue).

Keep in mind that almost all cold weather stadiums now have heated fields. And the field turf at the meadowlands probably plays about the same whether it is 20 degrees or 60 degrees. I'd also argue that the players don't give a damn that it's cold. The one thing that worries me about a cold weather location is the potential for high winds - That could have a major impact.

New Orleans is a filthy, corrupt city and you have to listen to the most God-awful accent in the world there. Their infrastructure is insufficient and the weather is freezing in winter and hot has hell in summer and it's expensive. But since Katrina, it's been very uncool to criticize the dump. Bush should have flushed that cesspool down the toilet when he had the chance instead of sending BILLIONS in federal aid. They screw the Super Bowl up but because it's NO, God's gift to mankind, there will be zero accountability. Makes allot of sense.

New Orleans is the butthole of America.

Sounds like you don't like New Orleans.

I could see them punishing Dallas for the seating fiasco, but not the ice. But everything we hear down here is that the weather was the bigger issue.

Then they turn around and give it to an outdoor stadium in the northeast. :L

The players won't care that much. It is the media that have to sit in the cold, walk in the cold, and write their stories in the cold that will massacre the NFL and put an end to this. Right now sports writers all over the country get a nice little vacation at the end of the year in a sunny location. That is why the NFL throws the big media party with all the stops pulled out. They want to schmooze up to the people that deliver the product to the fans.

I don't think it will be too big an issue in New York -- There are enough great restaurants, bars, and clubs to keep the media and celebs happy.

They mostly complain when they put it in a city like Houston or Jacksonville where everything is too spread out and entertainment options aren't as prevalent.

Dallas should be in the regular rotation of Super Bowl destinations, for obvious reasons.

Because the host team has never played in it, so in Dallas that is a sure bet? :yahoo:
