Nah, that’s team success, sure Mahomes is a HUGE reason why they’re having success but not the only reason… You can’t call Mahomes the GOAT until his career is done and we reflect back… Three peat would be amazing though, it’s so effin hard to do, mainly because of injuries, it’s hard to stay healthy 3 runs in a row ..

Yes the Chiefs offense definitely looks in better shape going into this year than last year - their receiving unit struggled some last year - Mahomes really carried the team, along with their defense.

Rashee Rice is facing disciplinary action for two separate incidences and Travis Kelce seems more interested in his celebrity status these days than he is in hitting the gym, which, at age 34-35, is not a good sign. That doesn't leave them much after those two. Maybe Hollywood Brown can recapture his 2021 form, if he gets 150 targets. But he won't. The only two guys Mahomes has ever targeted that many times in a season are Kelce and Hill. Xavier Worthy is a wild card but Reed and Mahomes typically don't put alot of expectation on rookie receivers. Rice was an exception. None of the other receivers on the roster will crack 500 yds.

Agreed, the receiving unit looks much better for the Chiefs going into this year than they did last year, and the Chiefs still managed to win the Super Bowl despite the shakiness at receiver - this year the additions of Hollywood Brown and Xavier Worthy should give them a big boost, and who knows if Rice will be suspended but it won’t be for the whole season.

The Chiefs will certainly be the favorite to win the Super Bowl going into the season, and they look even stronger this year than they did last year.
