Whoops, didn't even notice.

Merged. :thumb:
I'm guessing both fanbases are pretty excited. First time in the Wild Card format both teams have been good enough to make the postseason.

Cubs and Astros both look like they are wrecking everyone right now

Tough series, I would like to see the Cubs win this series but St.Louis has a lot of playoff experience. I'l have to take the Cards but I will be cheering for the Cubs

Didn't take long for the cards to pounce.

Struggles of getting Schwarber bat in lineup. A normal RF may get Piscotty ball

so the Cards go over 27 innngs without scoring a run to end the seasaon, and score in the first inning of the playoffs

Looking at the stats I believe Cubs chance of winning this game is maybe 15% at best. Lackey has a lower ERA vs the Cubs than Lester does vs the Cards. Lester is 1-3 vs cards and Lackey is 3-0. Lester has been mediocre in the postseason while Lackey has been solid. I would be shocked if the cubs win this game.

Lester mediocre in the post season? One of the dumber things I've heard in a while.

Outside bumgarner there may not be anyone better with any sort of strong sample size over the last 8 years or so

I'm talking about recently. Giving up 6 earned runs in 8 inning is sub par.
