If Cubs win tonight, we're 2-2 with Lester still to pitch, home field adv, and the best starting rotation the bigs have seen in a long while. All this panic is pre-mature. A win tonight against a young pitcher vs our VERY experienced pitcher, and we're in that enviable position.

It's 2-2. Two of the remaining three are in Chicago. That is definitially home field advantage.

Whats this enviable position? If Lester and Kershaw does their job, we're going to a game 7. Home field in baseball means very little. Also Arrieta who is the likely game 7 starter for Chicago hasn't been really good in the playoffs since that WC game vs Pittsburgh last year

I agree... I mean look the Dodgers blanked us at home and we just beat them 10-2 at LA so home field in baseball doesn't mean much.

Both teams fans need to slow their roll on assuming Lester and Kershaw are going to win their respective games. The last game Lester pitched was tied in the 8th and the Dodgers gave Kershaw a whopping 1 run vs Hendricks. Neither of the next 2 games outcomes is a lock by any means

I really think the cubs hit Kershaw better than they hit Hill and the kid from yesterday. If the ump makes Kershaw get the high strike down to the belt, I think the cubs would have done alot more damage to him. Rizzo hit a bomb to the street 10 feet foul, Javy took Pederson to the wall, alot of better contact.

Problem with Lester is trying to be too fine. Joe is not afraid to pull him no mater how much he pouts. John has had some real stinkers this year and last.

And the Cubs have the two MLB ERA leaders to pitch again. So there's always that too.

Hence the Dodgers are underdogs.

I feel like Game 5 is a must win for the Dodgers. To me, going back to Chicago having to win back-to-back games on the road is not a great scenario for them.
