Kershaw's appearance today is somewhat misleading. I think he only threw 7 pitches plus whatever it took for him to warm up.

And this was his side-session day, anyway. So it MIGHT not effect his schedule at all.

Right but he threw games 1 and 4 too. I'm sure he will go game 2 but those innings plus his relief appearance plus the fact it's been a rough year physically for him has to have him less than his normal self

Dodgers have to fix their lefty problem. That's going to be the whole series. Cubs aren't hitting well at all right now but they have just enough lefties to force the issue.

Game 1 winner takes this.

I wouldn't say Kershaw was great but maybe this is the step forward he needs to be dominate in the playoffs. The Cubs offense hasn't been great but that thrilling comeback could boost the offense. Just some things that could change in this series. With that being said I like the Cubs chance in this series. I say Cubs in 5 possibly 6 if Kershaw pitches up to his regular season level.
