And he was laboring. There was no way he was staying in this game.

104 pitches in not even 5 innings is a lot. Especially on 3 days rest off a long relief appearance which came 3 days off a start.

agreed. he had 5 walks in 4.2 innings, obvious time to pull him. 55 strikes on 103 pitches isn't good. Be happy it's a 1-1 game.
