What a cocky motherfucker. Personally I don't have a problem with his last couple moves but when he comments on them I get the feeling he has no idea what he is talking about and maybe someone is advising him. They got a couple decent minor league pitchers for Byrd and Rollins and Nola was a good draft pick. And if he answered questions about Nola by saying something like "we have a few good prospects in Reading and we want to keep them together so they can feed off each other and improve together" I would have bought that. But his answers are usually something like " He has some things to work on, you fans wouldn't understand because I'm much smarter than all of you --just trust me....you'll realize what I'm talking about in a couple years when you're reaping the benefits of my brilliance......"

The Mets are a flawed team but if you told me they'd be tied for first in June before the season I would be ecstatic. Need to get a bat or 2 to compliment the pitching. Still haven't seen Matz yet. Could still use another arm in the pen and the bench leaves plenty to be desired but this season has been a lot of fun so far.
