The Nats need to do some soul searching. They're playing like it was early Sept. and they're 15 games out of 1st place. They just went through their entire starting rotation without a win. I hope Williams hasn't lost the clubhouse, but it starting to look like it and no one is stepping up to take leadership. Things aren't going to get any better, if the attitude and effort doesn't change.

It's all the kid could handle. When I picked him up at home, he didn't want to go because he was "feeling tired." I forced him to go, he complained the whole time because it was cold & I wouldn't buy him an 11$ beer, and we were both miserable.

Next time I'll take you; I'm guessing you'll complain less.

even my 5 year old makes it till after the 7th inning stretch before getting too restless(and she has never even seen sandlot1 or 2). should have just dropped him off in the kids club in center and told him you would be back after the beer inning to retrieve him. didnt you say he was more interested in some solo sport?

Yeah, he's not really into organized stuff, but he'll go golfing with me. He actually did better at games when he was around 5, too. Now, he only watches the jumbo-tron and stands up for the T-shirt toss. He said he enjoyed the Knicks game more; I guess because the arena is smaller and he can follow the action better.
