Sign me up. I can also play horribly in any position on the O-Line, and for a fraction of the cost.
Meh, he's an alright backup at guard. But who knows, maybe you could be just as productive.

I thought Snyder's position was, "Oh shit, we lost a starting OL. Snyder, get in there and try not to screw things up!"
On a semi-serious note, Snyder was a college OT who started out at OT in the NFL, kind of found a home at OG, but has really made a living from being passable - and at times just barely - at several OL spots. I think Martin is fairly well suited to that role.

Hmmm. We'll see I guess. I bet he quits on the 49ers just like did to the Dolphins.

It would make you very happy if he does quit on the team. But the Niners won't miss a beat.
I don't think he quit on Harbaugh at Stanford -- and they weren't exactly a finesse team.

The Niners drafted Snyder as a Guard I believe.
Martin passed his physical today and the trade is official.
Pozz, what are his chances of making the 53-man roster? I'm thinking Goodwin and Snyder will be gone and Kilgore will start at center. That would leave Looney as the lone backup.
As much as I've always hated Martin (even when he was in college), he's better than Adam Snyder. Adam Snyder is the worst offensive lineman on planet earth. I haven't seen the OL in other galaxies, but I'm sure they're better than Snyder.
We aren't half the teams in the league. A mid round pick starting for SF is a different situation than a mid round pick starting for Oakland.
Also, where are people getting the idea that it's a mid round pick? Maybe it's a conditional 7th, with the condition being he makes the team.
He's going to compete with Snyder for the swing tackle position. He has no guaranteed money and makes 825k this year. If he doesn't make the team we may be on the hook for nothing.
Also, if it's a conditional pick, it will be a 2015 pick.
Oh look, I nailed the Jon Martin trade too.
Maybe I kind of know what I'm talking about with these contracts.
It's probably a 7th conditional on whether or not he makes the 53-man roster.
This one wasn't extremely tough to guess:
