NFL News and Rumors: Nick Foles to Seattle Seahawks?

Came across this by using my Contara (microsoft's answer to siri)

Would make a decent backup if Russ get's hurt.

I read an article somewhere that ranked his chances of going to every NFL team. They had Seattle 5th.

I like the idea of Foles in Seattle as an experienced QB who could provide back up in case of an unthinkable injury to RW. The only sticking point would be what he's asking to get paid. He's likely looking to get paid too much for our liking so I doubt it's feasible to bring him in.

Pass....

Foles is a whiny little bitch and seems like he'd want a starting role. If he gets brought on as a backup he'll probably just give up and go into 'collect paychecks' mode.

Don't think Nick would want to come here to be stuck behind RW for good. He thinks he is a starting QB and will want to go some where he thinks he has a chance to start. He should of stayed put on the Rams, he's going to regret giving up that money.

The latest rumor is that Dallas is considering him for their backup job. He might stand a better chance of playing if he goes there.

Doubt it. Don't see him as a good fit for the Seahawks and that OL. He's 6'6 245, big enough to play the DL. Brings images of Dan Mcwire to mind.

Foles isn't bad, I'd take him over most back ups.

Honestly, I would take him in a heart beat.

The long game for Foles is probably going to be as a backup and partial season starter here or there when an injury happens, but he's only been in the league 4 seasons -- too young to give up hopes of being a starter and smart money is that he'll try to find a place that has either a competitive situation or an older starter who may need replacing in a season or two.

Not a bad backup imo.

But I think Boykin is the man.

Signed with KC. Not surprised since Andy drafted him and had success in his system. I'm kind of surprised Dallas didn't push for his services since they lost their back up.

I think the seahawks are looking for a mobile QB similar to RW because it seems to that the playbook is taylored to his style of play
