Kelly supposedly soured on Foles and maybe vice versa, so I don't see that. Kansas City maybe?

This kind of makes me mad because we signed Bradford for a ton of money and this guy would have been quite similar for far less in terms of a stopgap.

Aaron Murray is the Chiefs low upside 'safe' QB at the moment and he is competing with high upside 'risky' QB Tyler Bray and 'too early to tell' Kevin Hogan. Murray is basically in Foles' spot so unless Murray totally bricks or gets hurt then I don't see it.

Reid drafted Foles and the two have a good relationship. So I could see it if Reid wants a more experienced backup now that Daniel is gone.

But...the names reporters are speculating about, unsurprisingly, are Denver, New York Jets, Miami...and Dallas to back up Romo.

That last one is intriguing, since Foles is a Texas guy.

I am a big Foles guy for what it is worth. I still think he has potential. And from a character standpoint the guy is great. Yes, I would hate it if Dallas got him, he would be ideal for that team, because while he is kind of a statue he does well with good o-line play as evidenced by his one great season in Philly. I'm guessing the type of QB the Chiefs want is a Paxton Lynch or a Carson Wentz kind of high end prospect they can stash away for a bit and develop for the next 2-3 years while Alex Smith and Murray do the game manager impressions.

I was definitely getting nervous during the draft hearing rumors that the Chiefs were interested in Lynch as well as the Broncos.

Honestly, I'm stoked the Chiefs drafted who they did with their first pick based purely on what a fan can actually tell. I had a 2nd round grade on Lynch and that was with the QB bump.

Oh I'm not happy with who you guys drafted as you and I have discussed we both really liked who the Chiefs got. I would give Paxton Lynch a 2nd round grade if he was asked to be Peyton Manning and run his type of system. I think though he is a great fit for the Kubiak offense with his athleticism, great deep ball, ability to throw on the run, and his ability to throw while under pressure. All parts that are important in the Kubiak system that will get him moving around.

Shows respect to the player for them to actually get a shot to find a place he could maybe start. Definitely taking a chance as the team but at the same time looks good to players that they respect players like this.

Yes but Chipper did trade him, Foles doesn't act it but he does hold a grudge, ( he didn't show for the Rams mini camps after they drafted the rookie)

If he takes league minimum I wouldn't mind reuniting him with Andy Reid.

I honestly think he could start for the Donkeys.....Better than Sanchez and a higher upside than the 2 rooks.
He's certainly worth taking a look at for them and I think they will...
