Personally I am glad the Big 12 has an auto bid now. Was so tedious having the justification for an SEC team to flip flop year to year for playoff spots, Heismans, etc.

Yes, this opens the transfer portal for all players at Bama for a 1 time transfer (regardless if they just transferred there) to another school without penalty. I think they get 30 days, im not sure of the timeline.
