With the playoff expansion, I think you’ll see less coach movement among the top 15-20 programs.

With only 4 playoff teams, it made sense to jump to a bigger program, even if it was a slight jump. Now, why have all the pressure when you still have a good shot at a playoff spot every year?

I think Lane is a Home Run pick. He’s built for this new generation of college football (NIL, Transfer Portal).

I’d throw the house at him to get him to Tuscaloosa. I honestly think he could pick up where Saban left it. Although, I thought he’d do the same thing at USC…so what do I know.

The Washington coach would be pretty amazing hire too.

No, I mean I bet they officially hire him by the end of the day. They don’t want to play with the transfer portal. Saban told them ahead of time what he was doing, so it’s highly likely they had a plan in place prior to his announcement.

I think they will announce it soon.
