The problem is Lance can't throw accurately. Possibly this team may lose the rest of these games. This is a bad team.. I see effort so I don't think they are tanking yet.

Do they draft QB in round one? I am not joking when I say this.

what if Dak does come back and never regains form? they have no options.

This may go down as the turning point for the franchise, in a bad way. Jerry chooses to wait on signing Dak till he has to overpay him at $60M and strip the roster. Even with most everyone healthy, the Packers destroyed us in the playoffs and the sorry Saints blew our doors off week 2. Had he held out on Dak, he could have let him walk this year for a comp pick, and drafted one of the 3 strong QB prospects at the top of the draft(Milrose is a monster). Instead, its gonna be a 32 year old Dak who will run even less after this injury than he already was. We'll do something stupid, like take a RB or WR top 3, and Jerry and Stephen will wait on paying Micah till he demands $50M a year, then they will sign him but let 5-6 more starters walk and go with 6 stars, a bunch of rookies, and scrap heap free agents. Could be a bad run

Terrible spot to put Lance in, down 31-3, having to pass every down. Our defense played great today, I think if Lance started, his formula for success would be 25 Dowdle runs, 10 QB runs, and 18-20 passes, mostly play action and half field reads. Justin Fields is a similar dude, not great stats but he was winning games

Man I'm so disgusted with Jerry right now because I can see how this is going to turn out. I loved this team for 15 years before Jerry bought it. He has been there 30 damn years and has regressed as a GM. The trade he just made is being laughed at all over the league. That will be a top of the 4th round pick, near a top 100 at the start of day 3. Idiot move. He gave up a 4th round pick for Trey Lance when his plan was to let Cooper Rush play if Dak went down. Idiot move. He hides behind the cap when he could create $80M in space if he wanted to. Yes it reminded me of Brad Johnson in 08 filling in for Romo. Every play was 4 yards or less. It was hard to watch. It definitely looks like a top 10 pick. Sanders is probably the most accurate passer. Ward is intriguing but he missed a lot of easy throws yesterday. Milroe isnt a great thrower Yet but neither was Lamar. So the one year we get a top 10 pick - we could probably wait and get a Dart or Beck later in the draft.
