Why now this close to camp? If one of their remaining QBs go down to injury during camp or preseason they may live to regret this decision.

Denver should snag him. Sanchez would be a pretty reliable backup.
True but if they had cut him back in June it would've given him more time to find a team before camps start.Shows respect to the player for them to actually get a shot to find a place he could maybe start. Definitely taking a chance as the team but at the same time looks good to players that they respect players like this.

Can't blame them if that's the case.True but they could have been waiting to make sure Goff is who they thought he was and didn't need a year before he could start.
Chip Kelly will bring him to SF, he ran Chips offense better than Bradford did.
To me seemed like Kelly couldn't get Foles out of Philly quickly enough though. While Foles definitely ran it better I don't think Kelly ever really wanted Foles to be his guy.
No confidence in Foles staying healthy running an offense like that.
Jets or Broncos working the numbers as we speak.
I know, just trying to be funny. To me seemed like Kelly couldn't get Foles out of Philly quickly enough though. While Foles definitely ran it better I don't think Kelly ever really wanted Foles to be his guy.

Case Keenum and Sean Mannion should both be ahead of Foles on a depth chart. Not that Mannion has proved anything but I think any team would rather take a chance on a young guy than a known loser. Why now this close to camp?
