Cant make it out too well, is he wearing Nikes?
Meh, going from 5 to 8 kids is nothing to brag on.
Yeah I know, its just when this story bubbled to the surface last year I said that it would be the reason why Portland wasn't going to get a team. I need to stay consistent. I don't mean to give Portland the shaft but while I agree its a better option than Arizona and Miami I still think there are better places to place a team.
Seriously the guy urinated in 38 million gallons of water and they dump it all? Pretty sure the ratio of my drinking water here is probably 10 parts water to 2 parts urine and I turned out fine. Sorta.
So everyones theory of why Portland wont get an NHL team is because a few years ago someone pee'd in the water reservoir and they dumped the entire reservoir?......that has nothing to do with the deiciosn to bring NHL to Portland.

I was in Portland the day after Christmas this past year and I saw a guy take a leak on Skidmore Fountain.
I'm with Comeds - the NHL cannot afford to move a team there and have fans just pee whenever and wherever they feel like it. It would much rather have teams in places where few fans show up to avoid this problem in the first place.
There's gonna be a bunch of cities bidding for one of the two likely expansion teams - Portland, Seattle, Vegas, Quebec, Toronto/Hamilton, Milwaukee, Kansas City...wouldn't surprise me if someone suddenly decided Houston could be presented as a viable expansion option, too.talks are really heating up here in Portland about the NHL...rumors that Portland is very interested in getting a team.
I think only Seattle and Houston are bigger markets.Portland has two arenas capable of holding an NHL team, plus it has a dedicated market.
Although yes, Seattle, Vegas, Houston, Quebec City, are more attracting as they are bigger markets.
Well I don't see any pro team surviving in Vegas, but if Quebec City isn't a larger market, it is probably attractive because its in Canada and Canada has a stronger hockey fan base that the US. NHL could see themselves as a safe bet to be in Canada..I think only Seattle and Houston are bigger markets.
I was recently in Vegas, they were building some sort of arena right next to the strip....is this where they would plan on putting a team or are thy going to use the new arena at the MGM (where they host PAC conference bball tournaments) or where UNLV plays? Those other cities don't have this:

Does anyone not think Vegas is all but assured a team? I am not stating I like it, its awful, but I don't see anyway they do not get one of the teams.
