We will probably trade down to add picks SteelersPride since we gave up a fourth and a sixth to Tampa for Mark Barron who was indeed worth the swap.

I Think you guys mean Mark Baron. Treading Bradford really isnt an option for us because he's under contract and teams know we will have to cut him if we don't want to pay him his 14 million. So they can just wait and don't have to take on his pay.

If Sam stays and we get Locker I'll say they sign Smegles A. Davis back on the cheap. Makes more sense then spending a 3rd rd pick on a long shot at QB. We need a starter in the 3rd rd.

Garrett Grayson will be a starter in the NFL (whether with us or somewhere else) within 2 years and we NEED an heir apparent to Bradford or whoever. Davis is NOT coming back here. He will get a shot as a backup in a place like Jax or Houston or Carolina.

Sam is 26 what's in two years that we will need a replacement for Sam?

You are correct Cougar. I was thinking of a different Mark at the same time I was writing about Mark Barron. I fixed all of the errors. Good catch!

I was referring to a FA move or trade. My memory is bad, but I can't remember the last guy they brought in the wasn't an over-the-hill/past his prime FA. They've definitely hit on a few defensive guys in the draft. But hell with all those picks, you're gonna hit a few. Thank God they did.
