I agree with this and I'll add that betting on sports is legal in most of the U.S. There might be personal rights violations coming against
the league, which could call into question the terms of their anti-trust status,. This,of course depends upon if he and his lawyers decide not to accept the suspension.

Ok let’s say you allow that , then what do you open up ? Betting on games you are playing in ? If he broke the rules on no gambling on football , won’t the next guy actually bet on games he plays in ? Could that lead to thrown games IE. 1919 black Sox scandal ?

I'm not suggesting that it be allowed, just that the NFL and the nutty Supreme Court opened up a door that may be challenged in Court by individual(s) who operate in a work environments that doesn't allow it.
