Can everything be bumped atleast another 10 spots if not that means the season has went to shit
What is the up with these temperamental QBs? There was a time in which competition bred better players, even when they had to relocate. How difficult is it for these guys to remain silent and allow things to play out? There's no evidence that Watson will end up in Cleveland simply because they met with him. Perhaps Mayfield is internalizing such due diligence as some sort of slight or message to him but there again goes ego/self-centeredness that's uncalled for.Baker Mayfield has posted a cryptic message to Browns fans on his Twitter account.
Forgive the gossipy news description, but we weren't sure what else to call Mayfield's multi-paragraph message to the people of Cleveland. "I have given this franchise everything I have," Mayfield said. "That is something I have done at every stage, and at every level. And that will not change wherever I take my next snap. Whatever happens ... I just want to say thank you." Alrighty then. The Browns and Mayfield were basically already in open combat before the team met with Deshaun Watson on Tuesday. Now the breach appears irreparable. Not that Mayfield really possesses anything in the way of leverage coming off his dismal 2021. Nevertheless, stay tuned.

What's up with mayfield is that he's playing on his 5th year option and the team refuses to give him an extension....and the team has made a trade offer for Watson that means the front office doesn't plan on keeping Mayfield. What is the up with these temperamental QBs? Mayfield at first blush appears to be an amicable fella, going so far as to invite the country into his home, sharing the differing oddities in living in a place that has remarkable similarities to an NFL stadium, but hey, who has a right to judge where a man chooses to call home?![]()
Your last point is precisely what I'm referring to, I understand the 5th year option and all of that, but this sort of public outpouring hurts him and no one else! Sometimes it's best to keep things to yourself Mr. Baker! What's up with mayfield is that he's playing on his 5th year option and the team refuses to give him an extension....and the team has made a trade offer for Watson that means the front office doesn't plan on keeping Mayfield.
I understand Mayfield's frustration, but OTOH, if you're gonna be upset tthat the team is looking for a better player, maybe you should've played better...
lol I bet he is extremely pissed
Meh!! Squeeze them all together and I still doubt that you'll find an honest person of courage.
