Then you factor in things like guys still nursing injuries, surgeries that were put off and players going the SB. Now throw in they want players to go to Orlando:rolleyes2:This will likely be the worst pro bowl ever.

The NFL needs to take a hard look at how, when and where they conduct the pro bowl. As it stands now it's a joke.

Agreed! It's unwatchable and boring. What I would watch is if the NFL a couple of weeks after the SB did an awards show to celebrate the great accomplishments of the players and coaches.

Is it over? No. In fact I don't think Ryan will win. I think Brady will win. Should it be over? Fuck yes. Ryan's been the best player by a significant margin all year. However that doesn't mean shit

After dumb dumb was voted as the MVP last year the MVP award officially didn't mean shit anymore.

Until Godgers wins it right? That's certain to legitimize it? I mean he's done everything except walk on water that wasn't frozen.

Rodger for MVP, bring legitimacy back to the award. #ManningSaysLegitimizeIt

I thought the MVP award was garbage back when they didn't give it to Barry Sanders and made it a CO MVP with Favre. Also, I thought Watt was the MVP over Rodgers in 2014. MVP voting needs to be changed. IDK if it's even considered an official NFL award or if it's just pencil neck pencil pushers make us believe it's legit.

That is messed up, it not like he didn't play the "Minimum" games required to be eligible for the MVP.

He still is eligible that';s that is too much of a drop off . He was huge for the Raiders and should be in top, but look at the odds from 4-5 that's crazy Prescott at 25-1

I would put 5K on EE not winning but sports gambling is illegal in my state. :(

I was poking sticks at Great Dane and his Brady isn't a MVP because he didn't play enough games.

I'd like to see Matt Ryan get it - I think he deserves it thus far. He'd get my vote.

Who cares about the MVP, playoffs and SB is all that matters. Last year Brady had the MVP sewed up and then Cam poured it on the last 4 weeks and deserved it. He was also the no#1 Pro Bowl vote getter last year but only #3 behind your boys Zeke and Dak. Those boys are popular

It would be a lousy return though lay 5k to maybe win a 1k-1.5k

That sounds about right. I think it's free money. I think the very small risk is worth the reward. Right now I think EE's chances of winning the MVP is very minute. I'd take Brady, Ryan and Rodger over him. For a RB especially a rookie RB to win he would have to put up 2k rushing yards or at least 1800+ rushing yards and 27 rushing TD's to have a legit chance. He won't come close to accomplishing either. That's just based off the history of the AP voters over the last couple decades.

Sure we would, but what about the voters? He got plenty of vote for Prob Bowl and if he happened to have a 200 yard game and he breaks the rookie record. But i doubt they risk him getting injured seeing they have HFA locked up.

I don't think Carr was truly in the running though at this point in the season whether healthy or not...

He is 11th in yards (only has missed part of that 2nd half so not like it is because of the injury)
17th in yards per attempt
7th in touchdowns
And only 9th in QB Rating.

I know stats are not the end all be all but there are players that have had better seasons than him even before the injury.

David Johnson if he was on a playoff team to me would be top-3 right now for MVP.

Brady is exempt from games played. In fact he should have won MVP for the 2008 season
