Maybe, I've felt his numbers would be much lower on a more mortal defense. I would take a Justin Houston or Von Miller over him for instance.

Yeah, me too, and Id take Aaron Rodgers over Tom Brady, that has nothing to do with the seasons' they are having

But there is an active push behind the scenes of anybody but TB.
Yes, but that just goes to show how weak the MVP race is this year in historical terms. No 40 TD seasons to really capture the attention of voters. Just the run of the mill Brady season.

Wentz will still finish with more TD's than Brady

Maybe, especially if they sit Brady early against the J E T S, JETS JETS JETS!!! Of course that would likely mean a large lead happens early, which in turn would mean likely several TDS by TB.

We'll just have to wait and see. Either way, Wentz is no longer in the running.

No, there is not an "active push behind the scenes" to give it to anyone but Brady

Well, we're not talking /r/conspiratard here, we're just pointing out how fluid the MVP race is. We have folks suggesting Gronk (Lol?!) and Gurley here in a ridiculously QB slanted league. That's a clue to how weak the MVP race is this year.

And that run of the mill Brady season has been MVP level when compared to previous winners, see Manning 2009 as an example, almost identical numbers. That same year Chris Johnson had 2500+ combined yards, and 16 tds, similar to Gurley.

No. It has to do with your TB12 hate. Aaron Rodgers hasn't done dick in this

True, but the fact Brady has MVP stats compared to previous winners, and the suggested alternative has similar stats to the RB of the same year it went to the QB, is proof of the push.

TB12 saves his MVP work for the playoffs.

I agree that he shouldn't win NFL MVP this year. Give it to a non-QB. Probably Gurley.

Give it to whomever they may face, should they make the SB this season. It's worked out well in the past.

I saw 7-0. OK.

The targets just helps to point out that it doesn't change for him based on the game flow, ergo he isn't as much of importance as you implied.

Bell is a better overall choice at MVP than Gurley.

I don't know where you got 7-0 from I never said 7-0, I said 9-0 and never edited it.

Bell, really? He has 8 less tds, .7 average rush less, less rushing yards, he does have more receptions but less receiving yards, less total yards

Huh? I already covered that.

And as to the second part, he's more valuable to his team using your logic.

In reality Goff is more valuable than Gurley to the Rams. Gurley is just a sexier pick.

I actually don't care if Tom gets it or not. The point is he is held to a different standard than other players. And he is head and shoulders more valuable than Gurley.

Absolutely. Brady has had a below average month for Brady! Too many interceptions for Brady!

He still won for the most part (i.e. Miami), still made the comebacks.

Don't care about MVP
I'll throw my vote to Clark Harris of the Bengals for all I care.

Sure, but it included 3 straight away games in tough places to play, and it's cherry picking. When you look at the entire season, which it is supposed to be based on, he has similar numbers to previous winners.

As long as Brady is in the minor league division, he will never be "most valuable".

Mvp doesn't mean "best stats". It means most valuable.

We all know the unwritten rules of mvp voting. Have to be in the playoffs (potentially eliminates Russel Wilson), have to be healthy (eliminates wentz and Rodgers).

That leaves imo Brady, gurley, Brees, and keenum.

In my order

Gurley
Brees
Brady
Keenum

The MVP is not about the team. You are confused.
Brady is the lead choice, but Gurley is a close second.
