I actually don't care if Tom gets it or not. The point is he is held to a different standard than other players. And he is head and shoulders more valuable than Gurley.
You have nothing to back that up.
Gurley is right in the mix with Tom for the MVP award.

History backs it up.

And no Gurley is not in the mix with him, other than the desire to give it to anyone other than TB. It can easily be argued Gurley isn't even the most important RB to a team. Bell is more important to the Steelers is a valid argument.

The QB-Everyone else gulf is so wide since 2004 it's getting to the point where any non-QB for MVP is mostly an indictment on the QB's that year not producing an actual MVP caliber season. Gurley needs to probably be around 2500 to even get a fair shake nowadays which sucks, but just highlights how warped MVP awards are nowadays. There are several better players than Brady, there are non more valuable.

.
Actually history backs up Gurley.

AP: 2314 yards from scrimmage, 13 TDs

LT: 2323 yards from scrimmage, 31 total TDs

TG: 2093 yards from scrimmage, 19 total TDs

You are really letting your homer ism fly on this.

Nope, pointing out that it's mostly a QB award now.

TG: 2093 yards from scrimmage, 19 total TDs

TB: 4,393 yards from scrimmage, 30 total TDs

Which one is the biggest loss when you remove their numbers?

Aaron Donald is a slam-dunk for me to start with. Other players I would throw their names in that hat might include Von Miller, Gurley, Earl Thomas, and Antonio Brown (oops)

Gronk is another that can be argued I suppose.

Not one is a QB, therefore not one is more valuable than TB. The QB position is the most valuable position on the field, and it's not even close.

You simply hate Brady, and that's fine, but trying to argue that the top QB in the league, in a league where the QB is the most valuable position, is simply idiotic at best.

You know full well this is a strawman...

*Hint, I actually agree Brady is the MVP, and have argued that for months now*

I was with Wentz until he went down.
I thought his statistical profile was honestly underwhelming as far as MVP's historically go. Hasn't been a great MVP year but Brady has consistently led the pack by traditional MVP measures so I would have to think he gets it now that the Wentz hype-wagon is grounded.

Wentz will still finish with more TD's than Brady

But there is an active push behind the scenes of anybody but TB.
