And that is offset by divs he's better against.

Now you are just caught with your pants down and will scramble for any semantical argument you can find.

LMFAO.

You're crazy.

Like batshit crazy.

"TB is just as good against every other div in the NFL, if not better."

Reread what you said, a few more times.

He's better in 4 of them, the same in 1 of them, and weaker in 2 of them, and those 2 have something in common.

He's .759 vs the rest of the AFC, compared to .778 in the east, pretty much the same.

No actually he's clueless. The stats I posted were correct, he simply assumed I didn't include their rushing stats, when I fact I did.

You shouldn't assume. And you fell for what he posted.

@Myles his entire premise was that I used incorrect stats, because he assumed I didn't account for their running ability, and he was wrong. You assumed he was correct, which in turn made you wrong.

Sooooo he's NOT "just as good if not better than every other division"?

Cool.

Sooooo you are hanging on to the literal meaning, based on a couple of west coast divisions where he hasn't as much success, though he has winning % against them too.

You are simply being dishonest trying to argue you were only talking about those two divisions.

He proved what you literally said to be false.

Yes he was able to find 2 out of 7 divisions where that was the case, and both had the same thing in common, they were western divs. Congrats.

Meanwhile it doesn't change the premise that the East isn't why he is winning, when it's not even his best div historically to face, and in fact there are several others, not just two.

Here is the updated list.

Vs

AFCE .779
AFCN .816
AFCS .854
AFCW .634

NFCE .737
NFCN .824
NFCS .810
NFCW .643

2 where it is lesser, 1 that is statisically the same, and 4 where it's greater.

Tom Brady doesn't win year in and year out because of the AFCE.

Tom Brady 2017 ≈4400 30 TD's, 1 game remaining

so huh? Was that from another post, and if so was it a typo?
You were making the argument that TB had comparable stats to other MVP's and you gave the example of Aaron Rodgers in 2015 where he wasn't the MVP. I pointed out Rodgers was the MVP in 2014 not 2015. You gave an example to help your argument which wasn't even relevant.

Rodgers 2014 ≈ 4400 Yards, 38 TD's 5 Int's, 270 Rushing Yards, 2 Rushing TD's, 2 Lost Fumbles
Brady 2017 ≈ 4400 Yards, 30 TD's, 8 Int's, 25 Rushing Yards, 0 Rushing TD's, 3 Lost Fumbles

Rodgers Total 2014 ≈ 4670 Total Yards, 40 Total TD's, 7 Total TO's
Brady Total 2017 ≈ 4425 Total Yards, 30 Total TD's, 11 Total TO's

Is there a clear difference? You be the judge

Looks like on the pro football reference list I pulled the wrong line when switching from MVP page to the player page. Congrats, you found one that was in error, although you say nothing about your being wrong about the other players, and your assumption I didn't include the rushing stats for McNair and Newton.

I never said there weren't players that didn't have better statisical seasons, as you seem to be latching onto, I pointed out he is having a season similar to previous winners, NOT ALL.

So we'll call it 2 mistakes by you to 1 by me. Mmmkay.

@Yam @Myles

Tom Brady now has a winning record vs every team in the NFL except for Denver, which he now stands at 8-9. But yeah, it's the fact he plays in the AFCE.

I never said anything about the AFC East.

You do twist stats around quite a bit.

You jumped on his train though about the divs.

Here's another stat for you, and @Yam , more so yam than you,

Brady vs the whole NFL .769

Brady vs the AFCE .779

Brady vs the rest of the NFL .764

Yup he only wins because of he plays in the AFCE.
