Would much rather have Savage but I'd rather have Mettenberger McCarron and these supposed character concerns they both bring over Savage or Gabbert. Granted if there's something I don't know about Mett or McC I could change my mind but what I do know it wouldn't prevent me from rooting for either at this point.

Character concerns aside I would agree that Mett would be the guy but I am concerned about that aspect. Ive not been as high on McCarron as some so would prefer not to see him in a Niner uni.

If Bryant lives up to his potential and develops as a WR, I think he could be a HUGE problem in Pittsburg. Big Ben loves that long ball and he can create many of those opportunities with his size and speed. Scary concept for later in the season and the beginnings of next season.

Fortt's good streaks are nice but watch a lot of him and you'll see why he fell as far as he did. Tries to be too flashy a little too often. Great support system for him though.
